i know we all have things to do and sometimes our time might be a little bit short to do all of them.

however, what i want to say is that we should never promise to do things we cannot really do. more over, we must not tell people we did things we didn't.

the fact that it happened more than once is very alarming. it's just pains me to be burdened by cramming and whatnot when i am not who is the reason of all these.

i do not feel superior. in fact, i am attached to the situation than ever. there could be friendships that may be scarred and reputations lost. i am attached because i am in the direct line of possible effects.

i must admit i was frustrated last monday.

we could have done better than that.

tomorrow, everything will be going our way. i know.

pro-activity

and, i said that tomorrow is just another day.

what a good way to start "the" day. and, another day it is. there are reasons why i don't really like staying at home. even though it has its own advantages, it cannot outweigh the misunderstanding and other things happening inside it.

1. I am Always Wrong

never, in recent memory, have i been appreciated for my efforts inside the house - even my cooking that feeds them every meal. oh my.

2. I am Always Judged

i have been called a drug addict, nagbabahay ng babae and stuff. i have also been called a liar. and they tell me that the academic things i do are only fronts of what i've been doing. grabe lang ah.

3. Everyday is Sermon Day

everything i do is connected to a sermon. which will lead to how my parents raised me. but the question is, isn't she the one who raised me? so, who is on the chopping block now? illogical person.

i have other things to enumerate. but that would be like me destroying my own family.

the challenge now is how to be proactive with these kind of people around.

more than the usual

|
i have got to straighten up a little.

i am experiencing a little over a week of writer's block. i have many things i want to write about and yet, when i face the page of making a new blog, everything comes to a blank.

specifically the times when i was pissed off than the usual. not that i am always pissed off lately, but the level of being pissed surpassed the previous levels i've experienced.

so now, i have got to retire. and tomorrow is just another day.

unanswered questions

|
why can i not be the normal teenager who gets to be asked who, what, when and where?

why do people at home accuse me instead of knowing the real reason behind everything i do?

why do i get to be the drug addict? the shameless sex addict? the gambler?

why?

study break

i am blogging right now because i found something funny.

tonight, i was doing our IE141 Case Study 6. i know that it is due on friday but it is really long so i think that it is only practical to start making it now.

so far, i am done answering two letters out of the 9 questions of the problem. and, it took me almost 3 hours just to do it.

anyway, the case is entitled FARM MANAGEMENT which coincedentally relates to the Facebook application i am currently addicted to, FARMVILLE. :)

Thank You to My Facebook Account for this picture.

i just found it funny because the case talks about animals and a limited number of farm land to use. and the question was also to maximize monetary worth at the end of the year.

what if, for some unknown and crazy reason, i would create a linear programming model of the application in facebook. how would i fare?

if i had the time, i would.

last week was a bit off. i didn't know what happened to me. :(

exhaustion

|
this has got to be the most exhausting day i ever had.

after a semis game with MMM, the fifth set of which will be played tomorrow noon, we had training since our first game will be on Monday against the College of Business Administration.

i just couldn't get my body to do things anymore. i am so tiiiiiiiiiired. grabe.

it was a good thing that they left newly-cooked rice and some ulam on the table. and to my surprise, i finished it all. it was almost 3+ cups of rice with 4 fish fillets.

i really appreciate how fish makes me feel full. and ever since friday, i am on fish diet. hooray for me! no red meat that will remain in my abdomen!

anyway, the game isn't over yet so i have to rest and hope for a better game from me and other members of the team.

Let's GO IE!

Cory Aquino died last Friday.

let all our emotions relating to our nation's recent loss be translated into a responsible vote come the 2010 elections.

years in review

So, since i had guilt-free internet for the weekend, i reviewed these UAAP Cheerdance routines. and, i have come up with:

My Top Ten Best UAAP Cheerdance Routines (based on videos found in Rovy2k's channel)

10. UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe 2005

clean. synchornized. high tosses. my problem with the routine is UST's uniform. i didn't feel that tiger stripes will work for them. nice opening sequence with everybody doing the front walk.

9. De La Salle Pep Squad 2005

for me, this is their best performance if compared to the disastrous 2007 and futuristic 2008. i thought they are going to barge in the top three with this routine. very snappy moves. tapos mas risky yung pyramids although hindi mataas ang tosses. pati yung dance sequences nila natuwa ako.

8. Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion 2006

this is the advent of Ateneo cheerdance. beautiful uniform. great gymnastics skills. medyo mabagal lang silang magbuo ng pyramid. ito na yung time na nagsisimula na silang lumayo sa traditional pag cheerdance competition na.

7. UP Pep Squad 2005

what i like most about this routine ay yung starting chant. parang, it will make you stop and watch talaga. tapos ang taas ng tosses. nakakatuwa na lalo yung Nestle part - cute. haha. tapos, dito ko rin nakita na mataas ang level ng gymnastics skills ng UP. and considering the 2005 competition, sila ang may best tumbling passes.

6. Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion 2008

best Ateneo performance for me. galing galing. hindi ko lang masyadong gusto yung hanging tapos long sleeves na uniform for girls. haha. great gymnastics, one that could rival UP's. ang ganda din nung A sa dulo, alam mong pinaghandaan talaga at gusto talaga nilang manalo. ang galing na ng flyers nila ngayon.

5. Adamson Pep Squad 2008

ang nice nito. best performance din ng Adamson. mas maganda costume nila. ang lagi ko lang problema sa kanila ay ang pagkakamix ng music. tapos yung formation nila mukhang magulo. yes, they increased their level of difficulty this year that led to a 3 level pyramid. sorry loss. pero, maganda nga.

4. FEU Cheering Squad 2008

when in terms of synchronization, best sa 2008. wala akong masabi. alam mong sobrang pinaghirapan nila na mag-sync talaga lahat ng members. iisa lang yung galaw. kaso, ang sumira sa performance ay yung last pyramid na nahulog. maganda din yung effort ng face paint para mas masink-in yung theme of fire. pero, hindi masyadong fiery sa routine nila. they had safe pyramids. and their pompoms are kind of redundant.

3. UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe 2006

kung titingnan ang synchronization ng lahat ng napanood kong routine, ito ang number one. and, from 2005-2008, ito ang best routine nila for me. gusto ko din yung uniform nila. at matataas ang tosses. pero they really need to improve in tumbling passes. gusto ko dito especially, yung naglalakad sila habang nakabridge. haha. ang cute.

2. UP Pep Squad 2008 (best video, kitang kita lahat)

UP is considered as Cheerdance's Benchmark of Innovation and Creativity by the opening spiel. the reason why it was a big hit because it was the university's centennial. given na hindi, it wouldn't work. evident yung errors pero i understand. with this level of difficulty, mahirap ng pantayan ang UP. ang bilis ng routine kaya medyo nahirapan sila bigla sa pag execute ng pyramids. pero, the tosses were great - xout twist(?), full twists and a kick double full. ang galing talaga nung pagkakagawa ng routine na to. ang galing din ng tumbling passes nila dito. with 5 layouts. medyo awkward lang ako sa costume. haha.

1. UP Pep Squad 2007

who would have thought you could make a goth-themed routine a winning routine. ang ganda ng formations ng UP dito. sa tingin ko, ito yung pinakamagandang performance ng UP. malinis na maganda pa ang execution. great gymnastics skills. ang ganda nung opening part. favorite part ko dito yung yung last pyramid. they make difficult pyramids look so easy to do.

the new leaf

august will be the new month.

everything will be new.

  • Diet - yes, healthy diet will be on its way. i will refuse to drink softdrinks and eat junkfood. also, i will choose to eat fish and chicken over pork and beef. LEAN MEAT, anyone? haha. and, let us not forget our fruits and vegetables! let us all be health buffs!
  • Academic Thrust - the second long exam in 141 was an eye-opening experience. carelessness at its best. so, im going to be more rigorous in studying not only when exams come but also in other academic requirements like papers, report and stuff.
  • Work Methods - first things first always! no to extreme internet surfing when there is work to be done!
  • Passion - i need to be more passionate in the things that i do. :) sometimes, i just do them half-heartedly.
and that is all.

and, some updates.

the IE volleyball teams are in the semis. and earlier today, the women's team got another ticket to it's 2nd straight (in recent memory aka since last year) finals appearance. and we, the men's team, are facing the unpredictable MMM squad next week for a do-or-die match. i hope that we improve on what we were able to achieve last year. sana finals din kami para masaya.

i am confident to say that we are at an advantage. however, looking into different point-of-views there can never be a sure win as shown by the celebrated UP win over Ateneo last week. so, we have to be wary and put on our best defensive and offensive game.
